I found the UWLS really helpful, as my weight issues are almost entirely mental as well. As w/ all Dr. Phil advice, the keys work best when you work them. I found the food lists kind of a throwaway, though. WW concepts are much more sound nutritionally, imho.

I haven’t gotten to the food lists yet, but I doubt I’ll follow them. I have a pretty good idea of what I *should* be eating, the problem I have is actually doing what I know.

I wasn’t thrilled with SparkPeople but I know a lot of people love it. myfooddiary.come looks promising but I have no experience using it. Good luck finding something that works for you!

I love Cheesy Hashbrown Hamburger Helper! I make it extra bad by using sausage! Which is why we don’t have it that often and I consider it a “special treat”!
I did the couch to 5k program once upon a time… it was great! Have a great time with it!
